Parking at Frankfurt Airport
Travellers departing from Frankfurt and arriving by car will find a comprehensive range of parking options at Germany’s largest airport – from terminal-adjacent and comfortable to affordable on a holiday-duration basis. Frankfurt Airport (FRA) is operated by Fraport AG, which manages all official car parks. We show you the available options and how to save.
Terminal Parking
If short walking distances are important to you, Terminal Parking is the ideal choice. The multi-storey car parks are within walking distance of the terminals:
- Terminal 1 (A/B/C/Z): Car parks P2 and P3 (alternatively P1) are just a few minutes’ walk from the terminal.
- Terminal 3: The new terminal in the south of the airport (open since April 2026) has its own car park (entrance P10, access via the A5).
- Terminal 2: Terminal 2 has been closed for passenger operations since June 2026 and is being modernised – always check your departure terminal on your current ticket.
Terminal Parking Prices
Terminal parking is the most convenient but also the most expensive option. Short stays are charged by the hour; for longer holidays it is worth looking at the more affordable alternatives – or booking online in advance at a fixed price.
Holiday Parking
For holidaymakers, Holiday Parking is the budget-friendly recommendation: you park in an official Fraport car park slightly further out (including at Gateway Gardens) and are taken to the terminal by shuttle. A week’s parking starts at around €68 – significantly cheaper than terminal-adjacent options. Bookable exclusively in advance online, for parking durations of three days or more.
Book Online in Advance & Save
- Book your parking space online in advance – this secures a noticeable price advantage over the on-site daily rate.
- Entry and exit are handled conveniently via licence plate recognition or QR code.
- Free cancellation is usually possible up to 24 hours before the start of parking, depending on the rate.
- During holiday periods, allow a little extra time – the terminal-adjacent car parks are in high demand.
